Recycle
Here is a list of stores, companies, and organizations that recycle plastics! Most recycle plastic bags, but this will be specified. In the description, you can find more information about how they do this.
Naperville
Fresh Thyme
FreshThyme has a little blue container for plastic bags, and they have space on the side if the container is overfilled. This is sent to the distribution center, which sends the bags to Trex. Staff checks on it frequently and they get a lot of bags. They collect plastic bags and Oberweis containers and currently do not have guidelines posted about what they collect.
Fox Valley
Kohl's
They have bins near amazon and customer service, they take plastic bags, coverings, anything plastic and send to distribution center. Items are then sent to Trex. Bins are usually filled or overfilled and they have no space for extra bags. It is open to the community during business hours, and they ONLY recycle plastics.
Aurora
Meijer
They have two collection bins that are almost always full, but they move the recyclables 2 times a day or more. They send these to Corporate in Michigan or their distribution center in Wisconsin which sends them where they need to go (Trex). They only recycle plastics (plastic bags), and the store recycles cardboard in a baler, but they don't collect cardboard from the public.
South Elgin

Collect & bale our own soft plastics through Trex and act as a film recycling resource to our community. Acts as a collection center across their area and provides resources to those interested in recycling their thin plastics.
